AI Sales CRM for Indian Teams, Built Around Your Process

In Auspicely, the AI writes a verdict on the lead record itself: a score from 0 to 100, a temperature, a recommended stage, a short summary, one suggested next action, the risks and opportunities it sees, and the reasoning behind all of it. The next action is a button, not advice. Press it and an AI draft lands in the WhatsApp or email composer, where a rep edits it and presses send. Nothing goes out on its own. That is what “AI” means in this sales CRM — a verdict you can read and argue with, and a draft you approve. Auspicely is WhatsApp-first, built for sales teams in India, and access is invite-only.

01

What does the AI in an AI sales CRM actually put on a lead?

Open a lead in Auspicely and a panel on the record carries the AI’s current read of it. Not a tag, not a star rating — a written verdict with parts you can point at.

The reasoning is shown on purpose. A rep who has just spoken to the buyer often knows something the model does not, and the point of showing the working is that a human can read it and disagree. When the verdict is stale, one re-assess button on the record refreshes it. A manager who wants to re-rank a whole list instead of one record can select rows on the accounts list and run Re-assess with AI in bulk, up to 30 leads per click.

We make no accuracy claim here, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Judge it on your own pipeline during a demo: pull up ten leads you already have an opinion about and see whether the reasoning matches what you know.

  • A score from 0 to 100
  • A temperature for the lead
  • A recommended stage
  • A short summary of where things stand
  • One suggested next action
  • Risks and opportunities the model sees
  • The reasoning behind the verdict
02

What happens when the CRM says “follow up with this lead next”?

Most tools stop at the sentence. Here the suggested next action is a clickable button, and what it does depends on which action it is.

If the action is a message — reply, answer a query, or follow up — pressing it drops an AI-written draft straight into the composer on the lead. The draft is a starting point, not a verdict on tone. You can steer it with a plain-English instruction before it goes anywhere: ask for a shorter version, a firmer close, a different language register. Then you edit the text yourself if you still want to.

If the action is call, send a proposal, add missing information, or wait, the button opens the matching tool instead of writing a message — the call panel, the proposal flow, the fields that are empty, or simply a hold.

One rule runs through all of it: nothing sends itself. There is no autonomous agent prospecting, dialling or replying in the background. A person presses send, every time.

03

Does it handle WhatsApp the way sales teams in India actually sell?

WhatsApp is the main channel here, not a plugin bolted onto an email CRM. It is supported through three providers, so you connect the one your business already uses rather than switching.

The thread and the composer sit on the lead record, directly next to the AI verdict. A rep reads the last five messages, reads the reasoning, presses the next-action button and answers — without leaving the screen or switching to a phone.

If your team runs more than one business number, a line picker on the record lets the rep choose which BD number to send from. It shows live connect status for each line, and when a line is disabled it states the reason rather than failing quietly. Attachments upload straight from the browser, so a price list or a product photo goes out in the same thread.

History moves with you. An existing WhatsApp chat export can be imported onto a lead, so months of conversation that lived on someone’s phone become part of the record. If an import was wrong or should not have been brought in, those imported messages can be deleted again, and their media is removed with them.

  • A new inbound message raises a live toast on screen
  • The Inbox item in the sidebar picks up a pulsing dot so nothing sits unseen
  • Each BD number shows its own connect status before you send
04

What about email, meetings and calls — or is WhatsApp the only channel?

Email runs through mailboxes you connect. The rep picks which mailbox to send from, which matters when a founder and a BD executive are both working the same account. The AI can draft the subject and the body; the rep edits and sends. A proposal can be attached, and if the AI leaves out the proposal’s public link, the system appends it rather than letting a mail go out with the attachment unreferenced. Replies pull back in over IMAP with a Sync replies action and appear as a threaded conversation on the lead.

Meetings are handled on the same record. “Meet now” creates an instant Google Meet link with a copy control, for the moment a WhatsApp conversation turns into “can we talk?”. A scheduled meeting takes a title, a date and time and a duration, with optional Google Meet creation and an optional emailed invite. When it is over, mark the outcome as completed, cancelled or no-show, or delete it.

Calls have two panels: scheduled calls, and call history. A completed call carries an AI summary for the manager who wants the gist, the full transcript for anyone who wants the exact words, and a link to the recording. That recording link is signed and expires one hour after it is issued, because a call recording is not something that should sit behind a permanent public URL.

05

What can a sales manager see without asking reps for an update?

The dashboard is the first screen after sign-in, and it is read-only by design. You cannot edit a deal from it. It exists so a sales head can answer “where are we?” without pinging five people.

Across the top: account count, win rate, average first reply time, and open pipeline value in rupees. Under that, a callout that simply counts the leads still awaiting a first reply — usually the most actionable number on the page. Upcoming meetings appear as cards with Join links. Deal counts per stage link through to the pipeline.

Three tables do the rest of the work: lead source, showing leads, won and win % so you can see which source actually produces business rather than volume; a per-rep table showing open, won and win %; and a feed of the last eight things that happened. Be clear about what this is — a management view, not a BI or forecasting product. The metrics are counts and rates, not models.

  • Account count, win rate, average first reply time, open pipeline value in rupees
  • “N leads still awaiting a first reply”
  • Upcoming meetings with Join links
  • Deal counts per stage, linked to the pipeline
  • Lead source: leads, won, win %
  • Per rep: open, won, win %
  • Recent activity: the last eight items
06

Who can see which leads?

Sign-in is invite-only. There is no public signup form, so nobody creates an account against your company by finding the URL. Every route in the application sits behind a session guard that sends signed-out visitors to the login screen; the only things outside it are the API endpoints and public proposal links.

Reps are scoped to the accounts they own — on the dashboard and on the accounts list alike. A rep does not browse a colleague’s pipeline. Admins see everything, and the Team screen is visible to admins only. Ownership is not frozen: an admin can reassign an owner inline from the accounts list, or reassign a batch of rows at once.

Two more things worth knowing before you hand this to a team. Call recordings live in a private bucket and are only reachable through links that expire after an hour. And deleting a lead is a two-step action that also suppresses that phone number and email address, so a Google Sheet sync will not quietly re-import the lead you just removed.

07

How is this different from Salesforce, HubSpot or Instantly — and when should you pick them instead?

Straight answer first: sometimes you should pick them. Salesforce, HubSpot and Instantly are large self-serve suites with app marketplaces, big partner ecosystems and per-seat plans. If you need marketing automation and a service desk alongside sales, if you want to buy an integration off a marketplace instead of asking someone to build it, or if you want to hire from a pool of certified admins who already know the product, a big suite is the better fit and no amount of copy on this page changes that.

Auspicely is a different shape. It is a sales CRM built around one team’s workflow rather than a platform you configure into one. Access is invite-only, so onboarding starts with a conversation, not a credit card. WhatsApp is the primary channel, with the thread, the line picker and the composer on the lead record. And the AI’s reasoning is printed on the record instead of hidden behind a score, so a rep can tell when it is wrong.

  • Pick a large suite if you need marketing, service and sales in one platform, a marketplace of integrations, or a hiring market of certified admins.
  • Consider Auspicely if WhatsApp is where your leads actually arrive, if you want the AI's reasoning visible on the record, and if a small team wants one dense screen per lead rather than a configuration project.
08

How do you get started, and what has to be connected?

There is no free trial and no instant signup — access is invite-only, so the way in is a demo run against a real pipeline rather than a sandbox you poke at alone.

Setup in practice means connecting a WhatsApp provider for your BD numbers, the mailboxes you send and receive from, Google Calendar and Google sign-in for meetings and access, and a Google Sheet if that is where your leads land today.

Book a demo, bring twenty real leads, and judge the verdicts against what you already know about them.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I see why the AI scored a lead the way it did?

Yes. The verdict on the lead record includes its reasoning, along with the risks and opportunities it identified, so a rep can read the argument and reject it. You can re-assess any single lead on demand, or up to 30 at once from the accounts list.

Does the AI send messages on its own?

No. It writes drafts into the composer and a person presses send. You can also steer a draft with a plain-English instruction before you edit it.

Can I use more than one WhatsApp business number?

Yes. A line picker on the lead record lets a rep choose which BD number to send from, shows the live connect status of each line, and gives the reason when a line is disabled.

Can I bring existing WhatsApp history onto a lead?

Yes. A WhatsApp chat export can be imported onto the lead record. Imported messages can also be deleted again later, and their media is removed with them.

Are sales calls recorded and transcribed?

Call history on a lead shows an AI summary, the full transcript and a link to the recording. Recordings sit in a private bucket and the link expires one hour after it is issued.

How do I find a lead quickly while I am on a call?

Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K anywhere in the app to open the command palette. Results are grouped with matches highlighted, arrow keys move through them, Enter opens the one you want or takes you to full search, and Esc closes it.

Can I sign up myself?

No. Authentication is invite-only and there is no public signup. Start with a demo and your team is invited from there.

Can reps see each other's leads?

No. Reps are scoped to the accounts they own, on both the dashboard and the accounts list. Admins see everything, and the Team screen is admin-only.
